Blog #6

Managing conflict in black Greek letter organisations are difficult because every organization wants to go by their organization and not by the NPHC rules. We don't want to seem as though we are going against our organizations if we say we have done wrong. This is often that one persons behavior is what everybody thinks the orgazation is like. Since we represent our organizations we have to watch every step we take because if something were to happen, they would introduce us as our name and what we are apart of at school. Unity obstacles are individual beefs with members of organizations, we bring these arguments into our chapter and the chapter starts arguments. Other problems are disses in shows this just sets back unity, because once one person disses there is always a comeback, especially when organizations are not getting any disciplinary actions. Miscommunication is not sitting down right away with organizations when different things happen or things you hear about.
